The "99% Spring Schedule!"

Parents -- we are pleased to publish the "99% Spring Schedule".

It is the "99%" Schedule because, despite best efforts, we know that there are likely still a handful of errors that have to be corrected.  You can rely on this as your likely schedule BUT be sure to check back a couple of days before your game for any changes.

The schedule for D2 teams U13 and older and high-school age players does not appear here and will be publicized separately. Games for these players will be 2PM on all Saturdays.

Fall 2017 BYSC Local Youth Academy with Professional Training

Dear Parents of 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011-born soccer players –

Beaumont Youth Soccer Club is pleased to announce that in Fall 2017 we will be offering a LOCAL SOCCER YOUTH ACADEMY option for 2008-2011-borns!  This will provide players an option to receive professional training at the BYSC fields, while also being able to play games in the Golden Triangle area without having to travel to Houston.

Twice-a-week professional training will be offered to Academy players, as well as game coverage by a trainer.  The ALL-INCLUSIVE cost is expected to be approximately $325 for Fall 2017, which includes registration fees, professional training, uniforms, and team/individual pictures.

If you wish to be contacted with a registration link once it is enabled, please go to:

The BYSC Local Youth Academy program is open to all interested players, regardless of whether they have played with Beaumont Youth Soccer Club before.  There are no tryouts.  Once we have registration in place, you can register up at any time through August 1, 2017; after that, we reserve the right add players only when it makes sense in terms of the number of players for each age/gender group.

We are excited to add this option for local youth who are interested in professional training at a reasonable cost and without the requirement of going to Houston to play games.  We expect to announce shortly the hiring of our new Technical Director who will have oversight over this and other programs that will be in place in Fall 2017.

Pre-Registration for BYSC Division 2/Division 1 Competitive Tryouts, May 2017

Beaumont Youth Soccer Club is pleased to announce that tryouts for Division 2 and Division 1 Competitive Teams will be held this year during the weeks of May 15-19 (primarily) and May 22-26.  We will advise you of the exact dates and times in the near future.

Starting Fall 2017, Beaumont Youth Soccer Club will be hiring a Technical Director as well as other professional coaching staff, and will be offering twice-a-week professional training to all Division 2 and Division 1 players.  Fall 2017 Registration fees for Division 2 and Division 1 Competitive players will be, ALL-INCLUSIVE, approximately $350.  This will include registration, twice-a-week professional training, two sets of uniforms (home/away), team and individual photos, and Fall Championship registration (for teams that qualify).

You are encouraged to pre-register by going to:

There is no cost to pre-register and you are not obligated to join a team; however, it will be a great help to us in organizing tryouts and knowing who to expect.

Tryouts for Division 2 and Division 1 Competitive Teams (sometimes also called “Select” teams) are primarily open to all players who will be U11 or older next year, in other words, born in 2007 or earlier (i.e., born on or before December 31, 2007).  Players are invited to attend tryouts regardless of where they live or what Club they have played for in the past.  Players who are not offered a position on a team or who do not accept an offer will have the option of playing in the recreational program.

Division 2 Competitive Teams participate in the Fall season and will compete against other teams from Hardin County, Orange County, Gulf Coast, and Seabreeze Youth Soccer Clubs.  Teams that do well in Fall regular season games can advance to Eastern District Fall Championships and to South Texas State Championships.

Fall 2017 Plans!

Parents -- We are pleased to announce that Beaumont Youth Soccer Club is instituting a search process to hire a Technical Director and other training staff. Our contract with Liverpool is about to expire and we will not be renewing it nor leasing the field to any other outside Club.

Effective Fall 2017, the new Technical Director and training staff will be tasked with working for the betterment of all players in Beaumont Youth Soccer Club, from the very youngest beginners to the most advanced competitors.

The members of the Board of Directors all volunteer their time and effort to run BYSC without pay.  With a record 1,000 Rec and Division 2 players now participating each season, we have built up a modest surplus over the last few years and therefore do not expect to have to raise registration fees significantly, if at all, in this process.  Indeed, we are hopeful that for players in the Liverpool program, we will be able to reduce the training fees that they are currently being charged.

Because the current contract with Liverpool does not expire until June 1, things will look and run completely the same this Spring.  We are open to hiring some of the current Liverpool trainers for Fall to work under the Technical Director, if they do not make other plans.

Finally, as always, if you as a parent are interested in helping the Club, please let us know!  You don't have to be a soccer expert -- all that is required is a willingness to volunteer some time and talent, to participate in thoughtful and constructive discussion of issues as they arise, and to play your part in creating a fun and challenging environment for all of these great kids!

The Fall Season is almost wrapped up and we are pleased to announce that registration for Spring Soccer is OPEN!

The format and fees will be same as last year:  $50 for Fall 2016 returning players; $75 for new players.  Practices will begin in March and games in April.

Of course you do!
Cool shirt, special socks, yellow/red cards for your pocket, you learn the rules and get paid while exercising and helping youth soccer!

There are two "hybrid" Grade 8 Entry clinics scheduled locally in August. The first part is on-line so the classroom piece is shorter (about 8 hours).

IF YOU ARE ALREADY A GRADE 8 REF, recerts will start in September this year.
